Description
Tagadējai mūra baznīcai (1885–1886) pamatus un vēstījumu nākamajām paaudzēm baznīcas torņa apaļajā bumbā lika toreizējais Dundagas muižas īpašnieks Karls Ludvigs Ferdinands fon der Osten-Zakens. 1885. gadā būvmeistara Oto Zīverta vadībā sākti būvdarbi pēc arhitekta Teodora Zeilera projekta.
Tā ir taisnstūra vienjoma garenbūve ar poligonālu sakristeju un augstu piebūvētu kvadrātplāna torni ar poligonālu jumta smaili.
1969. gadā notika pēdējais dievkalpojums, pēc tam baznīcu izdemolēja. Reizē ar Atmodu atdzima arī šis savulaik izpostītais no stipriem akmeņiem mūrētais dievnams.
Dokuments, ko atrada 1992. gadā, restaurējot baznīcu, skaidroja, ka baznīca līdz 1833. gadam trīs reizes mainījusi atrašanās vietu. Restaurētās gandrīz mūžībā zudušās baznīcas interjers ieturēts silti brūnganos un baltos toņos. Spēcīgs akcents dievnama atturīgajā interjerā ir modernā stilā neparasti risinātā altārglezna triptihs, mākslinieces Helēnas Heinrihsones dāvinājums (1993. gads).
