Description
Baznīca atrodas Zasas muižas parka teritorijā, tā celta 1750. gadā. Vērtīga ir altārglezna, kurā attēlots Pestītājs. Baznīca ievērojama ar ērģelēm, kuras būvējis slavenais Jēkabpils ērģeļbūvētājs Andrejs Sūnākslis. Ērģeļbūves amata noslēpumus viņš studēja Varšavā. Altāra centrā ir glezna ar Pestītāja tēlu "Kristus debesbraukšana". Grīda klāta ar oriģinālām māla flīzēm.
Daudzu zasiešu ziedojumi, sagaidot baznīcas 250 gadadienu, kuru svinēja 2000. gadā, palīdzēja izpostītajām ērģelēm atkal ieskanēties.
Ap baznīcu atrodas 1. Pasaules karā kritušo vācu karavīru kapi ar akmens krustiem.
1983. gadā baznīca tika iekļauta valsts nozīmes arhitektūras pieminekļu sarakstā.
