Description
The Lake Svēte is small (1.2 x 0.5 km), with marshy, overgrown shores. Its area reaches 55 ha. Yellow and white water lilies bloom on the shores of the lake in summer. A footpath leads along the shore of the scenic lake to the Elkus Hill at the Lake Zebrus. The name of the lake suggests that this place could have been once a sanctuary. It is a great place for those who want to enjoy the silence and love beautiful, untouched nature. It is also possible to go fishing at the lake.
