Snail Farm “Kangari”
Do you know how to tell the difference between a snail mom and snail dad? Do you know what snails eat and do during winter? Do you know what is a snail SPA? You can learn all of that and many more interesting things about the life of snails and see the snails, by visiting the snail farm in "Kangari". There are about 1.5 tonnes of snails and they live in an area of 0.2 hectares. The snail farm is interesting to visit and study at any time, except from October until April, when the snails are sleeping.
Visits must be arranged in advance.
Besides the snails, various delicious and healthy snacks are produced from the fruit and berries grown at the farm, such as dried apples, pears, rhubarbs, pumpkins, quince, cranberries, as well as syrups, jams, and chutneys. You can taste and buy it all at the beautiful country house.
Lunch at the farmhouse. Visits must be arranged in advance.
