Zilver mājas vīnu darītava savu darbību uzsāka 2009. gadā, tomēr tās pirmsākumi meklējami jau agrāk, deviņdesmito gadu sākumā, kad tika izveidot z/s “Pīlādži”, kas nodarbojas ar augļu koku un ogulāju stādu, kā arī ābolu un bumbieru audzēšanu. Pateicoties 2009. gada lielajai ābolu ražai, saimniecībā radās nepieciešamība domāt arī par augļu un ogu apstrādi un pārstrādi. Gluži vai likumsakarīgi tieši šajā laikā notika izmaiņas likumdošanā, kas atviegloja prasības tieši mazajiem vīna un citu alkoholisko dzērienu ražotājiem, tādējādi stādu, ogu un augļu audzēšanai saimniecībā pievienojot trešo nozari – ogu un augļu pārstrāde vīnā.
Patlaban “Zilver” vīna darītavā tiek ražoti vairāk kā 10 dažādu ogu, augļu, meža ogu un pat ziedu vīni.
Blakus esošajā vīnotavā kā tūristu grupām, tā arī individuālajiem apmeklētajiem tiek piedāvāta iespēja nobaudīt darītos vīnus, starp kuriem ikviens noteikti atradīs savai gaumei atbilstošu. Iepriekš piesakoties, iespējams vīndara pavadībā iziet visu vīna radīšanas procesu līdz pat sīkākajām detaļām.
Minimālais ekskursantu skaits 5-15 cilvēki. Cena 5 eiro. Grupām virs 15 cilvēkiem - 4.5 eiro. Ekskursija notiek apmēram 1.5 stundu.
