Kokgriezumu muzejs „Jura putni”. ir dibināts 1998.gadā, balstoties uz mūsu iniciatīvu un vēlmi izveidot Kuldīgas rajonā nozīmīgu apskates objektu. Mans vārds - Juris, līdz ar to arī muzejs – „Jura putni”.
Pēc smagas slimības pēkšņi sāku veidot no slimiem kropļainiem kokiem putnus. Iespējams šī iniciatīva nāk no Dieva, tātad Dieva dāvana. Mūsu mīļākie putni ir dzērves, tāpēc kokgriezumos Jūs redzat atveidotus manas fantāzijas putnus dzērves - mīlestības, saticības, uzticības un mūžības simbolus. Pūce simbolizē gudrību. Kas var būt skaistāks par Dabu un vēl laukos, tāpēc mēs veidojam arī parku (dabas ainavu), kur pavasaros ievu zaros dziedās lakstīgalas, bet debesīs redzamas dzērves ar mīlestības kliedzieniem, bet zem katra kociņa - puķes. kuras atgādinātu, ka šeit ir mīlēta daba un sakārtota vide.
