Description
Neretas Svētā Gara Romas katoļu baznīca ir Romas katoļu Rīgas metropolijas Jelgavas diecēzes draudzes baznīca. Tā atrodas Aizkraukles novada Neretas ciemā.
Baznīcas būvniecība
Neretā katoļiem nebija savas baznīcas, Svēto Misu noturēšanai tika izmantota kapela Ķišķu kapos.
Pamatakmeni Dievnama būvniecībai bīskaps Antons Justs iesvētīja 1997. gada 10. oktobrī, drīz tika uzsākta baznīcas būvniecība. Darbs celtniecībā, kurā lielu ieguldījumu deva paši neretieši, ilga trīs gadus, kā rezultātā 2000. gada 8. oktobrī baznīca tika konsekrēta Svētā gara godam. Tā ir jaunākā baznīca novadā.
Baznīcas projekta autors ir arhitekts Aivars Melderis, bet projekta vadītāja.
