Saukta arī: Dzirnes ala. Gaujas kreisās pietekas Dzērdupes (Simtupes) kreisā krasta sāngravā, apm. 0,7 km no ietekas Gaujā, iepretī Simtēnu mājām. Alu XX gs. 30.gados atklājis Roberts Dzirne, kurš tolaik dzīvojis Simtēnos. Alas atradējs ne tikai sīki izpētījis alu, uzzīmējis tās precīzu plānu, bet arī veicis tajā izrakumus. Pēckara gados, savu pētījumu un atklājumu neatzīts, R.Dzirne alu aizracis. Tā atrakta 1986.gadā, īsi pirms R.Dzirnes nāves. Ala, kurai ir pavisam šaura ieeja, sastāv no trim palielām zālēm. Tās visu eju l ~ 40 m, pl = 7 m, h = 1,9 m. Visas sānejas vēl nav attīrītas un uzmērītas. 2000.gadā alas ieeja no jauna aizbrukusi vai aizbērta. Pēc tam vismaz divas reizes atrakta, taču no jauna aizbrukusi.
► 2005.gada vasarā alu atrakām un tajā ielīdām (trīs vīri ar lāpstām visu laiku bija ārā), bet pēc dažām dienām ala atkal bija ciet!!
