Description
Siguldas Jaunā pils celta 1878-1881.g. Tjudoru neogotikas stilā, blakus 18.gs.b. būvētajai koka kungu mājai. Jaunās pils būvmeistars bija Jānis Meņģelis no Cēsīm. 1936-1937.g. pils pārbūvēta arh. A. Birkhāna vadībā. 1920.g. interjerus projektējis J. Madernieks. Jaunajā pilī saglabājusies viena no greznākajām apdarēm un lietišķās mākslas nacionālā stila interjeriem.
