Description
Dundagas pils ir lielākā Ziemeļkurzemē, turklāt labi saglabājusies. Rīgas domkapituls to sāka būvēt 13.gs. vidū, 1434.gadā to nopirka Kurzemes bīskaps, bet no 16. - 20.gs. tā piederēja muižnieku Maidelu un Osten-Zakenu dzimtām. Dundagas pils divas reizes nodegusi un vairrākkārt pārbūvēta, pēdējo reizi pēc nodedzināšanas 1905.gadā. Ar pili saistās daudz teiku, no kurā pazīstamākā ir par Zaļo jumpravu.
