Description
Liepnas evaņģēliski luteriskā baznīca celta no laukakmeņiem 1935. gadā pēc arhitekta Jāņa Cīruļa projekta. Par būvdarbu pabeigšanas laiku vēsta uzraksts virs ieejas baznīcā – "Anno 1936". Altāris, altāra tēli, kancele un svečturi, kurus baznīcai dāvināja 7.Siguldas kājnieku pulks, veidoti pēc arhitektūras studenta Anša Bērziņa projekta. Otrā pasaules kara laikā baznīcas tornis sašauts. 2005. gada vasarā tornis tika atjaunots un uzsliets sākotnējā augstumā.
Baznīca ir valsts nozīmes arhitektūras piemineklis, kurā atrodas valsts nozīmes mākslas pieminekļi-altāris, kancele un soli.
