Description
Alojas evaņģēliski luteriskā baznīca ir Latvijas Evaņģēliski luteriskās baznīcas dievnams, kas atrodas Alojas pilsētas centrā.
Draudze dibināta 1534. gadā. 1695. gadā tika uzcelta koka statņu būve, apmūrēta ar ķieģeļu režģiem un laukakmeņiem. Līdz 1706. gadam baznīcas zvans atradās zvanturī pie baznīcas. 1768. gada 24. maija vakarā baznīcā iespēra zibens un tā nodega. Vietā tika uzcelta pašreizējā baznīca, kas iesvētīta 1776. gada 21. februārī.
Baznīcas iekārtas (altāris un kancele) saglabājušās no 18. gadsimta beigām. Ērģeles darinātas 1856. gadā, 20. gadsimta sākumā tās pārbūvēja Mārtiņš Krēsliņš. Baznīcā novietota altārglezna "Kristus svētī".
