Skrīveru dendroloģiskais parks atrodas 78 km no Rīgas DA virzienā. Parka reprezentatīvā teritorija pie Daugavas ir 16,93 ha plaša, bet kopā parka koku audzēm, lielceļa otrā pusē, aizņem 398 ha.Pēc „Latvijas mežu ierīcības” inventarizācijas datiem, ir saglabājušās 372 koku un krūmu sugas.Ir konstatēts diezgan daudz unikāla: parkā ir desmit sugu vienīgie eksemplāri Eiropā, 16 tādas sugas, kas savvaļā vairs neaug. Četras tādas sugas, kas pasaulē aug tikai četrās vietās.
