Description
Puzes luterāņu baznīca celta 1692. gadā Puzes muižas īpašnieka Emeriha fon Mirbaha laikā. Teika vēsta, kā barons izvēlējies meiteni iemūrēšanai baznīcā.
Virs ieejas baznīcā atrodas četri Mirbahu dzimtas ciļņi – ģerboņi (1692) un Aivara Lemberga ģerbonis, pateicībā par ieguldītajiem līdzekļiem baznīcas restaurācijā.
Ērģeles būvētas 1844. gadā, tās būvējis Hermanis Liepājā, pabeigtas restaurēt un paplašinātas 1990. gadā.
Blakus baznīcai apglabāts zinātnieks entomologs un Puzes draudzes mācītājs Johans Heinrihs Kavals (1799.-1881.)
Baznīcas altārgleznu „Kristus noņemšana no krusta” gleznojis K. Vēbers 1879. gadā.
