Vairāk kā 300 gadus vecā Landzes luterāņu baznīca atrodas netālu no Piltenes, ļoti gleznainā vietā pašā Ventas krastā. Ainavu baznīcas apkārtnē papildina senu liepu audze (kopumā te ir 7 dižliepas, resnākā koka apkārtmērs 6,4 m – tas bijis dravas koks, stumbram lieli māzeri). Uz Landzes baznīcu no mācītājmuižas (bijusī pansionāta ēka) ved ošu gatve, kur aug arī bumbiere 2 m apkārtmērā.
Landzes mācītājmuižā bērnību pavadījis Baltijas vācu dzejnieks un tulkotājs Kārlis Hugenbergers (1784 – 1860). Pie baznīcas atrodas seni apbedījumi. Te apglabāts bijušais Landzes draudzes mācītājs, teologs un vēsturnieks Teodors Kallmeijers (1809 – 1859). Uz dienvidaustrumiem no baznīcas atrodas senkapi.
Baznīcā atrodas ievērojamā Ventspils koktēlnieku darbnīcas meistara Nikolausa Sēfrensa baroka stilā darinātais altāris, kancele un ķestera pults. Pirmatnējais krāsojums nav saglabājies. Baznīcas iekārtojumā kopumā ir daudz barokālu priekšmetu. Pa labi no altāra ir epitāfija (1733) M.Henkam. Ērģeles ar 6 reģistriem darinātas Liepājā 1852. gadā, meistari K.Bitners un V.Bauers.
