Description
Baznīca celta 1830. gadā, pēc arhitekta T. Hermanovska projekta. Pirmajā pasaules kara laikā ēka tika izpostīta. Baznīca tika atjaunota laikā no 1931. - 1934. gadam.
Pēc 2. pasaules kara baznīca draudzei atsavināta. Tika uzspridzināta torņa daļa un ilgus gadus tā kalpoja kā noliktava. Draudze baznīcu atguva 1991.g., iesvētīta 1998. g. Dievnamā skatāma S. Jēkabsones gleznotā altārglezna, kas reizē ir arī mākslinieces dāvinājums dievnamam. Baznīca ir vietējās nozīmes arhitektūras piemineklis.
