Description
Nelielā leprozorija baznīca (celta 1936. — 1938. gadā, arhitekts Jūlijs Biķis) padara slimnīcas apbūvi par unikālu būvju kompleksu mūsdienu Eiropas dziednīcu vidū.
Baznīca celta tradicionālās, taču samazinātās formās neoklasicisma stilā. Tā ir kā garīguma akcents visā leprozija ēku grupā, un šo izjūtu radījuši arhitektoniski paņēmieni.
Zvanu baznīcai 1938. gadā dāvināja Liepājas drāšu fabrika. Uz tā ir uzraksts “Jēzus, mīļais Kungs, apžēlojies par mums!”.
Šobrīd baznīca ir slēgta apmeklētājiem.
