Prāvests Francis Lukšo 1898. gadā par saviem līdzekļiem uzcēla pašreizējo mūra dievnamu.1898. gadā būvētā žilbinoši baltā neoklasicisma stila (doriešu stila) celtne.
Dievnams ir mūra celtne, 30 metrus gara un 13 metrus plata ēka.
Baznīcā atrodas lielformāta eļļas glezna, kas iekļauta Valsts nozīmes mākslas pieminekļu sarakstā.
