Description
Pūres luterāņu baznīca uzcelta 1805.gadā. Savu tagadējo izskatu ieguvusi pēc 1858.gada pārbūves. Šajā laikā veidots arī altāris, kancele un biktssols. Baznīcai saglabājušies tikai divi tornīši, jo vidējais nojaukts.
Pūres baznīca ir viena no vietā, kur 1967.gadā tapuši nozīmīgi filmas „Kad lietus un vēji sitas logā” kadri. Filmas uzņemšanas laikā baznīcas iekārtas bojātas.
