Senos laikos Jasmuižas kapos bijusi neliela koka baznīciņa. Kad tā celta, nav zināms. 1815. gadā ap šo baznīciņu muižkungs Ksaverijs Šadurskis uzcēla jaunu mūra baznīcu, veltītu Svētā Krusta paaugstināšanas godam. Baznīca bija 24 m gara, 12 m plata un 10 m augsta, tai bija taisnstūra forma. Zem lieveņa, uz sienas esot bijuši uzgleznoti Sv.Pētera un Pāvila attēli. Baznīca bijusi bez torņa. Tāda baznīca pastāvējusi līdz 1926. gadam. Prāvesta Ostrovska darbības laikā baznīcu nojauca, atstājot tikai mūrus. Lai piebūvētu kapelu, sānu sienas tika izlauztas 9 m platumā, tādejādi katrā sānā tika uzbūvēta 9 m plata un 3 m gara kapela. Arī no priekšpuses baznīca tika pagarināta par 6 metriem, virs pagarinājuma tika uzlikts neliels tornītis. Jasmuižas baznīca ir 15 m gara un 20 m plata vairāknavu krustveida telpa.
