Description
Pašreizējo mūra baznīcu uzcēla priestera Aleksandra Milevska vadībā, kurš pēc ordinācijas 1861. gadā strādājis par vikāru Skaistkalnē. Par to liecina skārda vējrādī izgrieztais baznīcas iesvētīšanas gads - 1865. Baznīcas interjers iekārtots 19. gs. otrajā pusē. 1901. gadā tā tika paplašināta. 2009. gadā tika veikta baznīcas rekonstrukcija. Baznīcu ieskauj ar metāla žogu norobežots dārzs. Pie dievnama ir plaša mācītājmāja. Draudze iekļaujas Romas Katoļu Rīgas Metropolijas klēra Jelgavas diecēzē.
