1995. gadā draudze sāka būvēt jaunu dievnamu, izmantojot arhitektes Maijas Krastiņas projektu. Ēku iesvētīja jau 1996. gada septembrī. Baznīca veltīta Vissvētākās Jēzus Sirds godam.
Galvenajā altārī ir atbilstoša svētbilde, kas ir mākslinieka Šēnberga gleznas kopija. Baznīcā regulāri notiek dievkalpojumi, kā arī citi pasākumi, kas domāti ne tikai draudzei, bet arī pilsētai un tās viesiem. Labās akustikas dēļ dievnamā labprāt uzstājas dažādu stilu mūziķi.
