Description
Baznīca ir baroka laikmeta koka sakrālās celtnes paraugs, kas mūsdienās vairs reti sastopams. Celta 1771. – 1776.g. par Mikolaja Karņicka līdzekļiem. Pēc 100 gadiem, 1876.g. baznīca paplašināta. 1883.g. baznīcas dārzā uzcēla zvanu torni ar četriem zvaniem. Nedaudz vēlāk uzcelts laukakmeņu mūra žogs, iegādātas ērģeles. 1907.g. Romas mākslinieks Filamens uzgleznoja divas sānu altāra gleznas. Baznīcā atrodas divas vecākās (1745. un 1746. g.) Latgalē zināmās datētās sakrālās gleznas „Svētais Pēteris”un „Svētā Rozālija”. Te atrodas arī vairāki citi mākslas priekšmeti.
