Dievnams būvēts 1898. - 1900., ziemeļgotikas stilā, no sarkaniem ķieģeļiem ar baltām nišām un mūra velvēm veidotiem griestiem. Ķieģeļi vesti no Daugavpils ar baržām.
Lielais altāris, sānu altāri un kancele ir no ozolkoka. Sānu altāri veltīti Sv. Jaunavai Marijai un Sv. Lauram. Galvenajā altārī atrodas Sv. Jāzepa statuja ar bērnu Jēzu uz rokām. Tagadējo lielo altāri iegādājās un iekārtoja 1935. gadā. Baznīcas 6 pudus smagais zvans atgūts no Krievijas 1923. gadā, uz kurieni tas bijis aizvests 1915. gadā.
Baznīcai ir 35 m augsts tornis.
