At the Dobele Market, one can find not only all kinds of products produced by the local farmers, horticulturists, and floriculturists but also industrial products. The market is especially crowded during the seedling sales, given that it is popular for its wide and varied offer. The market is open seven days a week.

The historical Market Square beside the church, which brought together farmers and artisans from near and far up to the first half of the last century, has recovered its historical pavement after the reconstruction and has become a venue for various events, including fairs.
