Description
Alūksnes Jaunā pils angļu neogotikas stilā celta no 1860. līdz 1864. gadam. Tās būvniecību pasūtījis barons Aleksandrs fon Fītinghofs. Pils kreisajā stūrī zem torņa redzams Fītinghofu dzimtas ģerbonis. Tās pēdējais saimnieks bija barons Arnolds fon Fītinghofs. 1918. gadā viņš devās uz Vāciju un paņēma līdzi daļu pils iekārtojuma un mākslas darbu.
