Baznīca celta 1820. gadā par grāfu Jāzepa un Marijas Plāteru - Zībergu līdzekļiem. Tā ir akmens būve ar nelielu zvanu torni. Lielais mūra altāris ir ar četrām kolonnām un ar lielu masīvu krustu.

Ozolmuiža jau no pirmsākumiem bijusi patstāvīga draudze ar saviem prāvestiem. Prāvesta P. Andžāna darbības laikā (1975.-1980.g.) tika veikti ievērojami labiekārtošanas darbi: sakristejā izveidoja kapelu Jēzus Sirds godam, atjaunoja baznīcā novietotos krucifiksus un statujas, iegādājās liturģiskās drēbes. Baznīcas presbiterijā ir 3 altāri. Lielais mūra altāris ir ar četrām kolonnām un ar lielu masīvu krustu. Baznīcas īpašumā atrodas mūra plebānija, ko cēla reizē ar baznīcu, vārti un kapliča.
