Mazā un ļoti vienkāršā Jaunbornes Sv. Krusta katoļu baznīca uzcelta 1859. gadā pēc poļu muižnieka Juliusa Sivicka gribas, 1890. gadā pārbūvēta, 1921. gadā atjaunota. Mākslas cienītāju šeit stroke-width: 1px; color: rgb(58, 58, 58)"> Jaunbornes baznīca ir no mūra, celta krusta veidā, no ārpuses balti krāsota, ar cinkotu skārda jumtu, vienu torni un mazu tornīti uz baznīcas jumta vidus. Tornis apjumts ar melnu skārdu, krāsots. Baznīcas sānos 3 logi ar dzelzs restēm priekšā. Vidū krusta pagarinājuma sienā 2 logi un presbiterijā arī ir logi. Presbiterija daļa sešstūraina. Pie tās 2 sakristejas. Presbiterija galā augsta mūra kapela, balti krāsota ar nišu virsū. Nišā liela Kristus figūra ar koka krustu virsū. Baznīcas lielums 15 m x 7 m. Tornī 2 nelieli zvani. Virs ieejas durvīm uzraksts poļu valodā “Dievs ir mūsu patvērums un stiprums”. Baznīcā ir trīs altāri. Lielajā altārī Pestītāja krusts. Labajā pusē Dievmātes pastāvīgā palīga altāris ar Dievmātes un sv. Jāzepa gleznām, kreisajā pusē Jēzus Sirds altāris ar Jēzus Sirds un sv. Nikolaja gleznām. Baznīcā ozolkoka kancele. Kora telpās ērģeles (atjaunotas 1975. g.) un harmonijs. Apkārt baznīcas dārzam mūra žogs ar cementa jumtu, bet baznīcas priekšā dzelzs žogs uz akmens pamata. Dārza kreisajā stūrī liela bedre, kur prāv. P. Jakoveļs gribēja celt plebaniju. Dārzā ir misiju krusts, kas uzcelts 1935. g., kad tēvs B.Skrinda te rīkoja misijas. Ir Baznīcas dārzā apbedīts prāvests Teodors Kulikovskis (1874. g. – 1931. g.).
