Description
The church was built by the owner of Asare Manor Ernst Kristian von Holtei and consecrated in 1823. Next to the church stands a monument by architect Aleksandrs Birznieks dedicated to the soldiers of the Augškurzeme Partisan Regiment who gave their lives during the struggle for the liberation of Latvia.
