Ikšķiles Svētā Meinarda Romas katoļu draudzes dievnama būvniecība tika uzsākta 2013.gadā.
2018.gadā Ikšķiles jaunais dievnams ir uzcelts, sagādāts arī baznīcas zvans, un trīs baroka stilā veidotie altāri jau īpaši pozitīvi novērtēti. Taču darāmā vēl daudz. Vēl jāveic arī daudzi iekštelpu labiekārtošanas darbi. Dievnams joprojām ir tapšanas stadijā, taču dievkalopjumi notiek un tos ir iespēja apmeklēt.
