Description
Jaunauces luterāņu baznīca celta 1612. gadā, Kurzemes hercoga Vilhelma laikā, un vairākkārt pārbūvēta. Savulaik tajā par mācītāju strādājis ievērojamais valodnieks Augusts Bīlenšteins. Pēc 2. pasaules kara baznīcas ēka vairs netika atjaunota. Baznīcas drupas ir attīrītas un sakoptas, un pie drupām top īpašs mūris – tas tiks mūrēts no akmeņiem, kuros tiks iekalti Jaunauces pagastā reiz bijušo, bez nu zudošo māju nosaukumi.
