Description
The fountain is located near to the Livonia Order castle ruins.
On November 27, 2019, the fountain acquired a new shape, emphasizing the symbolism of Kandava. The edge of the fountain is decorated with oak leaves, but the focus is on a sculpture of acorns, the splendor of which is enhanced by lighting of different shades.
Author of the fountain: Gunārs Platpīrs.
The object was created thanks to the financing of Kandava municipality.
