Braucot šiem ezeriem pa vidu rodas tāda sajūta, ka braucam pāri tiltam. Tālāk seko straujšs pagrieziens, visapkārt pasakains mežs. Pagriežamies uz priežu meža ieskautā, grantētā ceļa paceļamies nedaudz uz kalniņa un ieraugam stāvvietu, kura ir domāta autobusiem. Pa koku galotēm klusām un mierīgi šalc vējš un, kaut kur tālumā čivina putņš. Dodoties tālāk pa ceļu, mēs ieraugām plašu autostāvvietu, un tiešu tai pretī paveras skats uz Čortoku.Ne mirkli nekavējoties dodamies tuvāk ezeram. Mēs ejam, pa dēlīšu klātu ceļu un trepēm. Ejot aizvien tēlāk paveras, aizvien, gleznaināks skats. Jā, mēs bijām pārsteikti par Velnezera, izteikti zaļo krāsu. Skats tiešām priecē ne tikai acis, bet arī dvēseli. Pieejam pavisam tuvu ezeram, atspiežamies pret koka margām un veramies zaļā ūdens dziļumā. Ūdenim, burtiskā nozīmē, var redzēt cauri, un tur apakšā ir baltas smiltis, un re, arī maza zivtiņa papeld mums garām.
