Description
Koka baznīca tika uzcelta 1907. gadā un iesvētīta tā paša gada 9. decembrī. 1935. gadā baznīca atradās ļoti sliktā stāvoklī, baznīcas tornim pat draudēja sabrukšana. 1936. gadā vecais baznīcas tornis tika nojaukts, un tā paša gada 9. decembrī tika ielikts pamatakmens jaunajam tornim. Torņa būvdarbi un baznīcas iekštelpu krāsošana tika pabeigti tai pašā gadā. Nākamajā, 1937. gadā, apmeta baznīcas ārsienas un jauno torni, ko tai pašā gadā arī iesvētīja. Baznīcā var apskatīt I. Zeberiņa gleznu "Kristus un Pēteris uz jūras".
