Description
Baznīca celta ap 1680. gadu un visos laikos bijusi neliela, tajā vienlaicīgi var saiet tikai ap 100 cilvēku. Tāpat kā lielāko daļu pilsētas, II Pasaules kara laikā baznīcu pilnībā nopostīja. No 1995. līdz 1998. gadam tā tika atjaunota. Altāri, iekštelpu dizainu un kokgriezumus veidojuši Rīgas Amatniecības skolas audzēkņi.
Ar Priekules baznīcu saistās daudz leģendu, arī par Priekules Ikara lidojumu no baznīcas torņa, kurš ir pieejams apskatei.
