Reed roofs, reed design – fast and high-quality throughout Europe!

ECO ROOF has many years of experience. We install roofs in all European Union countries regardless of the client's location, using either our own or the client's provided materials. The volume of our work has increased, and our work quality and professionalism are known even beyond our country's borders. We have worked in other European countries; our latest major projects were completed in Lithuania. The price of a reed roof is influenced by the complexity of the structure, the thickness of the coating, roof windows, chimneys, extensions, and ridge material. When working on large orders, flexible pricing is offered.

We have inherited the ancient craft of reed thatching through generations. Furthermore, we are located in Latvia, on the shores of Lake Pape, where reeds grow in the wild – these reeds are ecologically clean, as no chemicals are used in their growth. Reed roofs are not only found on ancient Latvian homes but also elsewhere in Europe – most commonly in resort areas, all types of outdoor bars, and gazebos. Of course, when building ecologically clean houses, such as log cabins, ecologically clean reed roofs are also used. Even in the distant past, reed roofs were used in lands along the Baltic Sea coast, as well as in Scandinavian countries. The application of reed roofs is very broad and exclusive. Reed roofs are very warm, ecologically clean, and blend into any landscape – whether it's an industrial city district or a small cottage in the Alps. Reed roof elements can be successfully used in various interior designs, for example, above a bar counter. A very successful solution is using reed roofs as decorative thin roofs for sunshades or canopies, and mobile market stalls. Reed as a covering is very light, warm, and decorative. With it, you will always stand out in the surrounding landscape and environment, in a positive sense, of course. Nowadays, a reed roof has become more visually appealing, lasts longer, and is also fireproof. These three things determine the quality of the roof. Fire safety is what worries clients the most. A reed roof does not burn if it is installed densely and without free airflows, and if fire safety standards are met around chimneys, grills, and other places with open flames. It is similar to placing a thick book into a campfire; it does not burn with an open flame. Currently, we have installed many reed roofs in Latvia. Interesting projects were in Amatciems, Cēsis district, and many other places where we are still participating in the construction of very unique villages. A very unique and interesting job was in one of Europe's largest water parks – "Līvu" Aquapark – where we installed reed roofs on decorative sunshades in the tropical interior part of the water park. We do not only install new reed roofs, but we also restore them. We have done the most restoration work in the Liepāja district.
