Devil`s Cave and Devil`s Stone

The Devil`s Cave is ~8,5 m deep. In the highest place, the cave is 1,5 m high and 1,2 m wide. The ravine, where the cave is situated, is approximately 10 m deep. In the ravine, outcrops of grey sandstone and dolomite can be seen. The legend tells that once upon a time, the Devil wanted to block Abava. But he could not manage to accomplish this mission because of a cock-crow. As the Devil was hurrying away, he dropped the stone right there in the meadow, at the top of the hill, where it is still today.

During the spring time and in wet conditions, you should be very careful, because the walls of the ravine are very steep and slippery.
