HILL PUSENA
Southwards of Liepaja there are huge dunes – the highest ones in Latvia; each of them has its name – Pusens, Atrais, Palu, Lavas, Mietraga hills. They evolved from drifting sand after the great fire of Swedish times and sank about 80 houses. The highest one – Pusens Hill – reaches 37 m in height. From the top of the dune the view is magnificent!
Next to the parking lot you will find a picnic area.
